LandscapePlan.com is a growing network of registered landscape architects located across the USA with the purpose of preparing landscape architectural plans for residential clients. Our mission statement is simply this, "We exist to connect homeowners to the outdoor environments in which they live for the enrichment of their lives by reconnecting with the beauty of nature." Our landscape architects have experience in all phases of residential landscape design including the preparation of landscape planting plans, site plans for new construction, landscape renovation plans for existing homes, and the design of "hard-scape" elements such as pools, patios, outdoor entertaining areas, driveways, sidewalks, water features, wooden decks, drainage elements, lighting, sports courts, etc. In short, we love the field of landscape architecture and would appreciate the opportunity to share our passion with you.
To become a landscape architect one must graduate from a (typically) five year landscape architecture program at an accredited university, work under the direct supervision of a licensed landscape architect for a period of 18 months, and then pass the LARE (landscape architectural registration exam) administered by the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Board (CLARB) to ensure each person is skilled, knowledgeable, and able to produce a work product that will provide for the public health, safety, and welfare. Currently 49 states license (or register) landscape architects. If you have any interest in becoming a landscape architect, or if you are interested in becoming a part of our network, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to assist you in any way that we can.
